About Us
Situated in one of the most densely populated and ethnically diverse areas of the Chicago suburbs, America Nail College (“ANC”) carefully designed the simulation of a nail salon environment for the sole purpose of beauty
education. It is equipped with modern visual & teaching aids, and possesses the type of modern professional salon equipment used in the best salons in America. America Nail College has approximately 2,000 square feet of space
devoted to teaching the science and art of nail technique. The facility includes classroom areas for lectures and practical training and an audio/visual center for video and classroom demonstrations. Our college is equipped with
extensive soap and lotion amenities, manicure stations, pedicure stations, and individual student workstations.
The college is air conditioned, well-lit and attractively furnished. It has a fully equipped resource center with an independent study area. Its administrative and advising offices are fully staffed and available to students during normal business hours.
At ANC, our mission is to offer training that prepares the student to acquire the knowledge and skills necessary to pass the Illinois State License Exam for Nail Technicians. In the process, our objective is to maximize the
development and personal growth of each student. It is also to help each student discover his/her potential and to become nail entrepreneurs. Our vocational objective is to train and produce graduates that are sufficiently
knowledgeable to seek and find employment in the health, spa, and beauty industry. The successful student should be able to function effectively in one of the many specialty areas such as: Manicurist, Pedicurist or as a Nail Salon
Operator.
